A lot of players use Runescape to travel and discover new locations. It's part of RuneScape gold that immersion concept. Finding new monsters in dungeons, new towns, etc. We play to explore and gain knowledge about the game. It is a part of the concept of immersion. Now, I would like to know, how do you feel immersed in the runescape environment No spamming, hi-jacking, or flaming, thanks.
Wearers of full rune armour (chainmail) are known to be asking dumb questions such as "How do I obtain wool balls?" "How do you get the silver bars?" They have never played before. I ask them whether they're on someone elses account, and they haven't played before I ask them if they have, and they say they've been playing for years.
Sorry I'm not sure if this is a common thing to happen nowadays, but I seriously can't believe that players who have at least a fair amount of experience of playing to not know basic stuff such as this. Have they been playing for days/weeks/months/years and not known any sense of direction/what they are doing and have just been following people the ENTIRE TIME!
As a child, there wasn't a GE. Everybody would meet in Varrock castle's gardens and shout "Press the number 222" to buy fully rune armor. However, after revisiting the area, I came to comprehend what GE was within a half hour. Rant over.
